About Livingston First Assembly
Meet our pastors
Gordon & Teresa Qualls
For more than 40 years, Gordon and Teresa Qualls have shared life, family, ministry, and a journey of following wherever God leads.
They met while attending Lee University and married a few years later. Together, they raised three children—Katie, Will, and Julia—and their family has since grown to include their son-in-law, Jeff, and two much-loved grandchildren, Michael and Max.
After living in several places throughout their marriage, a new chapter began in 2021 when Gordon returned to school without knowing exactly what God had planned for the future. Teresa retired in April 2022, and later that year they both headed to Colorado to continue their education.
After completing school in 2024, Gordon and Teresa returned home and began serving at Hope Church in Algood, Tennessee.
Then, in January 2026, they felt God calling them into a new season of ministry as pastors of Livingston First Assembly of God.
Today, Gordon and Teresa are excited to call Livingston First Assembly home and to serve the people of Livingston and the surrounding community. They look forward to all that God has in store for the church and believe His plans and purposes for this next season are greater than they can imagine.
“We are so excited for this season of our lives and believe that God has plans and purposes that go beyond what we can imagine.”
our faith: What We believe
At Livingston First Assembly, our faith is rooted in the Word of God and centered on Jesus Christ. As an Assemblies of God church, we embrace the Assemblies of God Statement of Fundamental Truths as our Statement of Faith.
These biblical truths express the foundational beliefs that guide our faith, worship, ministry, and life together as a church.
